In the last 24 hours, Pakistan recorded 111 deaths, its highest single-day tally during the second wave. Furthermore, 2256 people tested positive for COVID-19, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC).
As of today, the total active COVID-19 cases in the country stand at 38,268. Yesterday, 37,173 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 11,643; Punjab: 15,486; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 4,124; Islamabad:4,683; Balochistan: 443; Gilgit Baltistan: 389 and Azad Kashmir: 405
Out of 1756 ventilators reserved for COVID-19 in the country, 329 vents are currently occupied. There is no patient on the vent in AJK, GB and Balochistan.

615 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities, with 2,878 patients admitted. So far, 409,085 people have recovered across Pakistan, making it a significant count.
