KARACHI: Keeping in mind the recent surge in the COVID-19 cases, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has changed the banking hours in the country.
The changes have been made in line with directives given by the federal government.
“In line with the decision of National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) to contain the spread of COVID-19, the State Bank of Pakistan will observe the following office hours, which will also be followed by all banks / DFIs / MFBs till further orders,” the SBP notification read.
From Monday to Thursday, the bank timings will be from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm while on Friday the banks will operate from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
For pubic dealing banks will be operating from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm from Monday to Thursday while for Friday, the timings will be from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
