In the last 24 hours, 5,112 people tested positive for COVID-19 while 131 lost their lives according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). Most casualties were seen in the province of Punjab followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

As of April 30, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan stand at 91,547. Yesterday, 49,099 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 14,633; Punjab: 18,692; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP): 8,230; Islamabad(ICT): 5,168; Balochistan: 894; Gilgit-Baltistan(GB): 453 and Azad Kashmir(AJK): 759.

Out of 1,756 ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients in the country, 641 ventilators are currently occupied. There is no patient on the ventilator in GB and Balochistan. So far, Pakistan has seen a total of 711,465 recoveries.

A total of 820,823 cases have been detected so far in the country with AJK reporting 17,057; Balochistan:22,278; GB:5,305; ICT: 75,067, KP:117,557; Punjab:301,114 and Sindh:282,445.

Till now, Pakistan has recorded 17,881 deaths. Punjab is on top of the list with 8,410 casualties followed by Sindh:4,633; KP:3,274; Islamabad: 679; Balochistan: 234; GB: 106 and AJK: 475.

631 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 6,507 patients being treated across the country. A total of 11,682,014 tests have been conducted so far.
