The German Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr Bernhard Stephan Schlagheck, called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) at the General Headquarters (GHQ), today.
The military’s media wing, ISPR, revealed that during the meeting, matters of mutual interest, the overall regional situation, bilateral cooperation in various fields and the Afghan Peace Process were discussed.
General Bajwa stated that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Germany. He also appreciated the holding of the fifth round of Pakistan-Germany strategic dialogue in September 2020 and expressed hope for mutually benefiting bilateral relations.
The visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region and pledged to further enhance bilateral relations between both countries.
