Many people are of the view that the incident of groping and sexually assaulting the woman at Minar-e-Pakistan Lahore was a publicity stunt.

Claims have surfaced a day after the horrible videos of a woman being groped and sexually assaulted by a group of 400 men at a national monument went viral on social media. Some Twitter users say that she had invited her TikTok followers to meet her at Minar-e-Pakistan on August 14th. But that video was deleted later.

Some of them shared the videos before the incident in which she is seen surrounded by her fans and followers as she walked in the Greater Iqbal Park. The video shows her enjoying, clicking pictures, and making videos with her fans and followers.

Another user claimed that she had not registered the FIR the next day the incident happened but only when the videos had gone viral on social media. Following the incident, she also posted her picture all dressed up on Instagram. Netizens say that even her interview with anchorperson Yasir Shami was fake because Shami was wearing the same shirt the girl had worn in a picture posted on Instagram a day after the incident.

Netizens added that the victim revealed her facial identity and shared her TikTok account address in the suspicious interview. Another user shared a video in which he said that Ayesha Kamran had a clear path through which she could have escaped the scene. Social media users accused her of planning a publicity stunt for fame. However, the law enforcement agencies say they are investigating the matter.
