Pakistan’s speedster Shaheen Afridi and middle order batsman Fawad Alam have achieved their career best ICC Test rankings after exceptional performances in two match Test series against West Indies.

Before the start of the series, Afridi was at number 18 in the rankings but have made huge strides to break in to top 10 for the first time in his career.

On the other hand, Fawad Alam continued his fairy tale return and scored a match a brilliant century in the first innings of the second Test to take Pakistan to a formidable score.

The left hander jumped 34 places to reach 21st positions.

The left armer Shaheen was the man of the series with 18 wickets to his name and picked up his maiden ten wicket haul. He also equalled Wasim Akram’s tally of 76 wickets at the age of 21.

In addition to this, captain Babar Azam has overtaken India’s Rishabh Pant to take the seventh spot.
