Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Jalal Bachlani sustained an injury on one of his hands when unidentified gunmen shot at him in Karachi on Sunday morning.

Jalal, PRO to Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Ali Nawaz Awan, was attacked in Gulistan-e-Johar.

According to the police, two men on a motorcycle opened fire on Jalal near the Perfume Chowk when he stopped by a mart to buy water.

He was immediately moved to a hospital.

The police said the suspects fired two shots. One of the bullets hit Jalal while the other hit his car’s windshield. An investigation team has reached the crime site and has started collecting evidence.

Jalal is also a member of the Price Control Committee.
