Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Najam Sethi, has raised question marks on the salaries and perks taken by the senior officials of the board. He has asked the PCB to upload the salary and details of its employees on their website.

Sethi said this on Twitter while quoting former Board of Governor (BoG) member Shakil Shaikh’s tweet, “Good question. Will PCB put up a table on its website detailing salaries and perks of MD, CFO, COO, directors, consultants and GMs now compared to 2018 under the previous management?

Shaikh’s tweet questioned PCB’s new hiring of HR director, Serene Agha

Sethi believes that PCB should be transparent in their work and disclose the full expenses of PCB to the public. Currently, only the details of expenses and benefits of PCB Chairman and BoGs are disclosed on PCB’s official website.

On May 18, PCB appointed Serene Agha as its first female director of human resources.

Serena holds a master’s in Human Resource Management from Burkeback College, University of London. She has extensive HR experience in Pakistan, Middle East and Africa. She has previously worked as a Group Head of HR for a local manufacturing company and as a consultant for two Kenyan companies.
