In the last 24 hours, 2,664 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Pakistan while 32 lost their lives, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC). Most deaths were seen in the province of Punjab followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

As of March 14, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan stand at 21,121. Yesterday, 40,564 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 8,695: Punjab: 16,071; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 7,462; Islamabad: 6,734; Balochistan: 501; Gilgit-Baltistan: 311 and Azad Kashmir: 790.

Of the ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients, 247 are occupied across Pakistan. 25% of the reserved ventilators are occupied in Peshawar, 28% in Multan, 38% in Islamabad, and 34% in Lahore. No patients are on ventilators in Balochistan, AJK, and GB.

A total of 605,200 cases have been detected so far in the country with AJK reporting 10,952; Balochistan: 19,206; GB: 4,940; ICT: 47,710, KPK: 75,725; Punjab: 185,468 and Sindh: 261,179.

Till now, Pakistan has recorded 13,598 deaths. Punjab is on top of the list with 5,753 casualties followed by Sindh: 4,453; KPK: 2,153; Islamabad: 524; Balochistan: 202; GB: 103 and AJK: 320.

A total of 605,200 cases detected so far (AJK 10952, Balochistan 19206, GB 4960, ICT 47710, KP 75725, Punjab 185468, Sindh 261179).

631 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 2,301 patients being treated. Till now, Pakistan has conducted 9,485,702 tests.
