A Medal Award Ceremony for National Sailing Championships 2020 was held at the National Sailing Centre Karachi. Vice Admiral Faisal Rasul Lodhi, Commander Karachi attended the event as chief guest.
During the ceremony, medals were awarded to winners of the senior, youth, and junior categories of the sailing competitions including Laser Standard, RSX, 470, and J80 classes’ sailing boats. In the senior category, the Pakistan Navy won four gold and two silver medals in Laser Standard, RSX, 470, and J80 classes’ sailing boats.
While the Pakistan Air Force dominated the youth and junior Categories by winning five gold and four silver medals. the Pakistan Army and Sindh secured one silver medal each.
