Indian troops on Wednesday committed ceasefire violations in Khuiratta sector along the Line of Control (LoC). Pakistan Army troops responded to the violations in “befitting” manner, with two soldiers embracing martyrdom in the process.

The Director General Inter Services Public Relations, in a tweet, identified the martyrs as Lance Naik Tariq and Sepoy Zaroof.

Per media reports, police confirmed that a civilian woman identified as Nasim Fatima was also injured in Taai Village.

This development came soon after an informed source told The Correspondent early on Wednesday of Pakistan Armed Forces being put on high alert in anticipation of a “false flag operation” to be launched by India. The source claimed that India would instigate conflict along the LoC or launch a surgical strike in Pakistan to divert international attention away from its internal unrest, as it has done in the past.

The source said that India would initiate border skirmishes with Pakistan to detract attention from its humiliating defeats in Ladakh and Doklam. It also claimed that India is facing international scrutiny for its mistreatment of minorities, its oppressive policies in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), and its ongoing farmers’ protests. To divert the attention of international bodies and institutes away from these, India is likely to initiate violations along the LoC, the sources said.

Pakistan Armed Forces have been vigilant of such attempts by the Indian Army troops, and were prepared for the Indian attack along the LoC yesterday. The illegal actions of the Indian troops yesterday confirmed Pakistani suspicions of such acts by India.

Per informed sources, India has committed 9215 ceasefire violations between 2014 and 2019, causing 1,403 casualties. In 2020 alone, India has so far committed 2,830 ceasefire violations, with 271 civilian casualties.
