International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva expressed her happiness at “Pakistan’s response to the health and economic crisis.”
She tweeted that she had spoken to Finance Minister Hammad Azhar and State Bank Governor Reza Baqir today and discussed economic reforms in Pakistan.
She said in her tweet that “Great to speak with Pakistan’s Hammad Azhar and Reza Baqir today.”
She added: “I commended Pakistan’s response to the health and economic crisis, and we discussed the way forward for vital economic reforms and external financing needed to build a better future for Pakistan’s people.”
