Four civilians were killed in two explosions in Kabul and Kandahar provinces on Saturday morning, police and security sources confirmed.

Kabul police, in a statement, said that an explosion happened at a real estate dealer’s office in Tapa-e-Karte Naw in Kabul’s District 8 at around 9 in the morning. 

Police said that two civilians were killed and four were wounded in the explosion. 

Police said an investigation has been started into the incident.

Meanwhile, security sources said that two civilians were killed and three, including two police officers, were injured in an explosion in Daman district in Kandahar on Saturday morning. 

The sources said that the blast targeted a vehicle carrying Pir Mohammad, the district governor of Daman. He, however, escaped unhurt. 

A woman is among those wounded in the blast, the sources said.

No group has claimed responsibility for both incidents.
