Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, the daughter of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto and former President of Pakistan Asif Zardari, has given birth to a healthy baby boy.

Bakhtawar made the announcement in a tweet mentioning that the baby was born on October 10. She wrote, “We are happy to announce the birth of our baby boy.”

Bakhtawar brother, Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, also reacted to the news and expressed his happiness over becoming an uncle.

Meanwhile, the youngest of the three siblings, Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari also took to Twitter to express her excitement. She wrote, “Officially a khala!!! Alhamdullilah!”

Bakhtawar had tied the knot with Dubai-based businessman Mahmood Choudhry on January 29, 2021.

Bakhtawar and Mahmood Chaudhry had exchanged rings two months ago on November 27, 2020, in an intimate ceremony held at the Bilawal House where a limited number of people were invited to the event.

At the time, the PPP spokesperson had said that PPP Chairperson Bilawal has suspended his political activities for a week to participate in his sister’s wedding.

According to the PPP’s media cell, the Dubai-based Choudhary is the son of Mohammad Younas Choudhary and Begum Suriya Choudhary and manages a diversified business. The family hails “from the old town of Lahore, Pakistan.”
