All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed deep concern over the use of brute force against the common masses to celebrate Indian Independence Day in the Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir territory.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (AHPC) spokesperson, in a statement issued in Srinagar, strongly condemned the repressive measures adopted to force the people to participate in the Indian Independence Day celebrations against their will in IIOJK.

Denouncing the policy of political vendetta against the registered Muslim organizations like Jamat-e-Islami, he said that the fascist Indian regime is hell-bent on changing the social, cultural, political, religious, economic, geographic, and geographic demographic narrative of the occupied territory.

Terming the incessant raids by the Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the nook and corner of the territory a brazen assault on the liberty and privacy of the common people, the spokesperson said, the Agency has let loose a reign of terror not only in the main cities but also in the remote villages by doing nocturnal raids without any prior legal permission.

The spokesperson deplored the adoption of double standards and discrimination against the Muslim welfare organizations, rendering excellent services to humanity, regardless of caste, colour or creed in education, people’s welfare, and help during misfortunes like earthquakes, inundations and fire etc.

Reiterating that the uncompromising stance of the freedom-loving people of Kashmir pursuing their inalienable right to self-determination, the spokesperson said that whatever the nefarious designs of India, the freedom-loving people of Kashmir would never surrender before India.

Finally, APHC urged the United Nations to put pressure on India to allow free and fair plebiscite as the best possible democratic formula, recognized by the civilized world community, to resolve the Kashmir dispute in the best interests of global peace and prosperity.
