Tik Tok banned all content regarding the conspirast QAnon movement along with disinformation, stating that this was in direct violation of their policy.

Earlier this week, the company introduced new policy changes regarding a clamp down on QAnon and such related accounts that spread hate speech and far right ideas.

“These guidelines reflect our values, and they make clear that hateful ideologies are incompatible with the inclusive and supportive community that our platform provides,” TikTok said on Wednesday.

Just recently, Trump  accepted $1 million as campaign contributions from a couple whose vocal support for the QAnon conspiracy theory resulted in the cancellation of a fundraiser they were to host for Vice President Mike Pence last month.

“Content and accounts that promote QAnon violate our disinformation policy and we remove them from our platform,” a TikTok spokesperson said to the media previously. “We’ve also taken significant steps to make this content harder to find across search and hashtags by redirecting associated terms to our Community Guidelines. We continually update our safeguards with misspellings and new phrases as we work to keep TikTok a safe and authentic place for our community.”

Tik Tok also blatantly spoke against deniers of the Holocaust, one of the predominant theories of the QAnon movement.

“We’re proud that we have already taken steps to keep our community safe, for example, by not permitting content that denies the Holocaust and other violent tragedies,” TikTok said.

“We know there’s always more we can do, which is why we are taking further action to remove misinformation and hurtful stereotypes about Jewish, Muslim and other communities,” the company added.

TikTok’s Community Guidelines states that misinformation that “causes harm to individuals, our community or the larger public” is strictly illegal on the site, including medical misinformation. QAnon largely violates all of the aforementioned clauses.

YouTube LLC, Facebook and Twitter are also introducing measures to crack down on QAnon related content.
