According to data from the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the number of COVID-19 cases in the country was 2050 on 16 November, while 33 people lost their lives to the virus in the last 24 hours.

As of 17 November, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan are 29,055.

29,378 were conducted on 16 November; 11,596 in Sindh, 12,032 in Punjab, 2,831 in Khyber Pakhtunkhua, 1,917 in Islamabad, 356 in Balochistan, 302 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 344 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan continues to see a significant number of recoveries from the virus, bringing the count to 324,834 as of now, with no patients on ventilators in neither Azad Jammu and Kashmir nor Balochistan.

Currently, 218 out of a total of 1859 ventilators are occupied across the country by patients suffering from COVID-19.

Ever since the pandemic started, Pakistan has recorded a total of 361,082 cases; 5528 in Azad Jammu and Kashmit, 16449 in Balochistan, 4461 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 24444 in Islamabad, 42615 in Khyber Pakhtunkhua, 111047 in Punjab and 156528 in Sindh.

Sindh continues to lead all provinces with the highest number of recorded cases.

The total number of deaths caused by the virus is at 7193 as of now; 2751 in Sindh, 2492 in Punjab, 1315 in Khyber Pakhtunkhua, 260 in Islamabad, 156 in Balochistan, 93 in Gilgit0Baltistan and 126 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan has conducted 4,979,939 tests for COVID-19 till date, while 735 hospitals are currently facilitated to deal with the virus across the country.
