We believe that Shaheen has always been very important member of our squad and it is the time that we start building him as a leader,” said Sameen.

Qalandar’s director cricket Aaqib Javed also appreciated Shaheen’s achievements for the franchise and the national team. He said, “Shaheen Afridi is a world-class cricketer with exceptional bowling skills, his commitment and dedication for the team is unmatched and he is keen to take the team to the next level.”

Shaheen has showed his gratitude towards the franchise for entrusting him with this responsibility.
