Babar Azam has overtaken India’s Rohit Sharma and grabbed the second spot in the latest International Cricket Council’s (ICC) rankings for batsmen in ODIs.

Pakistan’s skipper has 837 points while Rohit is currently on 836 points and ranked third. Virat Kohli continues to lead the ranking charts with 868 points.

Shikhar Dhawan has advanced to 15th place after his match-winning contribution of 98. New Zealand’s Tom Latham has moved from 35th to 30th place after notable performances against Bangladesh.

Other than this, England’s Johnny Bairstow has moved to seventh position from 11th after his blistering 94 against India in Pune. This is his career-best ranking. Eoin Morgan has moved to 24th place.
