The Inter-service Public Relation (ISPR) released a press statement, issuing a warning against unprovoked ceasefire violation by the Indian Army troops.

The statement informed that the Indian army fired along the Line of Control (LoC) in Baroh and Khanjar Sectors, targeting the civilian population with mortars and automatics.

“Due to Indian army indiscriminate fire, two elderly citizens of the same family sustained injuries,” the statement read, “the injured have been evacuated to a nearby hospital for necessary medical treatment.”

Indian troops have committed 38 ceasefire violations since January 1.
