ISLAMABAD: Rain, wind and thunderstorm predicted in Northern Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the next 24 hours.

According to the MET office in Islamabad, hot and humid weather is likely to prevail elsewhere in the country.

Strong monsoon currents are likely to penetrate upper parts of the country from Sunday evening or night and may persist till Wednesday.

Rainfall in Sindh is likely to be higher with Padidan seeing 32mm, Shaheed Benazirabad 16mm, Sakrand 08mm, Dadu 06mm, and Badin 01mm.

Balochistan is likely to see rain with Turbat getting around 12mm of rainfall, Zhob 06mm, Khuzdar 01mm, and Sialkot in Punjab also has a prediction of 01mm of rainfall.

The maximum temperature recorded around the country in °C has been in Sibbi with 44, Chillas with 43, Mohenjodharo, Rohri and Bahawalnagar 42°C.
