Sheikh Rashid, who visited the protesting Hazara community on the directive of the prime minister, conveyed the premier’s condolences to the bereaved families.

The Interior Minister expressed grief over the killing of miners and said the prime minister is committed to arresting the killers and handing them down exemplary punishment. Sheikh Rashid said he would convey their demands to the premier.

Provincial ministers Mir Zahoor Baledi and Noor Muhammad visited the camp and condemned the killings of coal miners. The protesters refused to talk to them and said they would negotiate with the federal government.

Political parties and tribal leaders also visited the protesters to express their condolences and solidarity with them. Meanwhile, the Quetta deputy commissioner and FC officials reached the protesters’ camp but they refused to negotiate with them.
