While addressing the Kamyab Jawan program ceremony in Wana, the Prime Minister of Pakistan announced the launching of 3G, 4G services in the area. The premier further said that the tribal areas have been neglected for the last 15 years but Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will do everything to develop tribal areas.

“The enemy (India) is trying its best to spread terror in Pakistan. We know of their efforts to spread chaos in Balochistan. We have all the knowledge. Even in Waziristan, they are trying to instigate the youth against Pakistan. So that is why there was a problem regarding 3G/4G services which terrorists could also use.”

“But I spoke to my security agencies and we have agreed that we need to be cognizant of terrorists using this facility. Despite this, we also thought that it is the need of our young people and that is why this service will become operational from today.

Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and Governor Farman Shah will also brief the premier on the development work in the province.

Special assistants Dr Sania Nishtar, Usman Dar and Shahbaz Gill will also be with the Prime Minister during the visit to tribal region.
