Terror outfit Jamaat ul Ahrar’s head of the financial commission, Noor Gul aka Muslimyar has been killed in Afghanistan, according to security sources. 

Terror outfit Jamaat ul Ahrar’s second in command Rasheed aka Mamma was also killed in the vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) explosion yesterday in Barbar Bazar of Kunar.

According to reports, another person injured in the incident was identified as Waheed Gul.

The two, Muslimyar and Rasheed, were wanted in high profile terror cases in Pakistan, which included, Islamabad High Court suicide attack, Shah Noori shrine blast, and attacks on security forces.

Noor Gul as the head of the financial commission, Muslimyar was involved in financing terror activities in the region. The attack comes at a time when there had been an ongoing rift between Jamaat ul Ahrar and other terror outfits after the Jamaat’s recent merger with Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan.
