Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shah Mahmood Qureshi took to Twitter to express solidarity with Kashmiris on Kashmir Day, condemning the ‘fascist’ Indian regime. He stated that India’s Nationalist government is forced to bear international condemnations daily, on account of its ‘brutal campaigns’.

“While the Modi government is busy fortifying a policy of hate, censure and repression across India, Kashmir and beyond, the world cannot be silenced. Each day the fascist Indian regime wakes up to international condemnation of their brutal campaigns at every global forum and in every headline,” his tweet read.

Foreign Minister Qureshi described the purpose of ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’, when ‘we bear witness to the just struggle of our Kashmiri family, subjected to 73 years of brutality by Indian occupation forces in Indian Illegally occupied Kashmir.’
