Pakistan Tehreek-i- Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that an announcement to dissolve two provincial assemblies will be made before December 20.
MPAs of the PTI from Sargodha and Mianwali divisions met the chairman on Tuesday where they endorsed the decision to dissolve assemblies.
Imran told them that the Punjab Assembly would be dissolved this month. The PML-Q and the PTI were on the same page on the dissolution of the assemblies, he added.
He said he had informed the PML-Q of the decision and the party agreed to dissolve the assembly.
Imran said his politics was for the sake of country as the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government has ruined the economy.
Meanwhile, Punjab Assembly Speaker Sibtain Khan said that the members of the assembly had endorsed the decision of Imran to dissolve assemblies.
Senior Punjab Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal has disclosed that Chief Minister Parvez Elahi has handed over a signed summary of the Punjab Assembly dissolution to Imran Khan.
