3,045 people tested positive for COVID-19 across the country for the fourth consecutive day, data provide by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) revealed. NCOC’s data also showed that the number of new hospitalisations due to coronavirus have doubled in the past two weeks.

Over 45 people lost lives during the last 24 hours, maintaining the past week’s average.

The total active cases in Pakistan on November 28 are 46,861: 12,226 in Sindh, 21,515 in Punjab, 5,531 in KP, 7,446 in ICT, 706 in Balochistan, 295 in GB and 504 in AJK.

There is still ample availability of ventilators across the country, with 281 out of 1760 ventilators allocated for COVID-19. There is no patient on a ventilator in AJK, GB and Balochistan. At the moment there are 614 hospitals with COVID-19 facilities with 2,651 patients admitted across the country.

A total of 392,356 cases have been detected in Pakistan with 7,942 deaths being reported.
