Former president Asif Ali Zardari has assured MQM-P Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui that whatever the party agrees with the PPP, it will be implemented.

The assurance was given during a telephonic conversation between the two as the “joint” opposition is trying to woo PTI allies to oust Prime Minister Imran Khan through a no-confidence motion.

Insiders said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari was part of the conversation with Siddiqui on Tuesday.

They said the former president asked the MQM-P convener whether they had made a final decision on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran.

Zardari told Siddiqui that he had asked him to remain in touch with him and Bilawal, and he agreed to it.

The former president also asked the MQM-P leader to come to Islamabad and meet him.

Zardari also assured Siddiqui that Bilawal and he would remain in contact with them and oversee everything.

Insiders said that Siddiqui told Zardari that he would visit him tomorrow (Wednesday) in Islamabad.
