Producer Irfan Malik has said that he wants to release his movie London Nahin Jaunga in Turkey as well.
Talking to Turkey news agency Anadolu in Istanbul, Irfan said he wanted to release the movie with subtitles and dubbing. “This will be the first Pakistani movie to be released in Turkey,” he added.
He said he was in talks with distributors in Turkey for the release of his new movie in the country.
He told the agency that this is the third film he shot in Turkey: a country he views as his second home.
“Turkey has excellent technical facilities for filming and there is a large TV industry in the country. There are 8,000 movie theaters here. I would like my films to be released here as well,” said Ifran.
“Television series from Turkey are shown on Pakistani televisions, but the Turkish films are not shown in Pakistani cinemas. We aim to take steps in this regard to improve the brotherhood and good relations between the two countries.”
Film star Mehwish Hayat said “we are shooting the movie at a very beautiful place. I am having a great time with the professional shooting team.”
She said the first part of the movie has been shot in Pakistan and the second part is being shot in the country.
Actor is currently in Istanbul where she is shooting for film London Nahi Jaunga with Humayun Saeed. The other cast members include Kubra Khan, Vasay Chaudhary, Sohail Ahmed and Gohar Rashid.
She said “Turkish actors are very popular in Pakistan as their television series are popular in Pakistan. I think Turkey and Pakistan should work together in joint projects.”
Meanwhile, some parts of the movie will also be shot in London.
