Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday said that lust for power is driving ‘one man’ crazy.
He was speaking in Karachi after meeting members of Sindh cabinet who called on him to discuss matters of mutual interest and flood situation in the country.
Zardari said that situation was worrisome in the country after heavy rains and floods and stressed that everyone should set aside political interests and instead help the flood affected people.
Criticising Imran Khan, he said that Pakistan Army soldiers are fighting terrorists and “this person threatens army, police and judiciary and then challenges government to arrest him.”
Former president Zardari said judiciary should decide if this person is above the law or not.
He claimed that he (Imran) can subject him, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz to revenge. “Can he break every law?” Zardari questioned.
“The government will have to establish its writ,” the PPP leader said.
