Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan on Wednesday added another feather to his cap as he became the highest scorer for his country in a bilateral T20I series.
So far, Rizwan has scored 315 runs in five matches of the seven-match series against England, and he has yet to play the remaining two matches.
Rizwan surpassed his skipper Babar Azam who made a record in 2021 against South Africa by scoring 210 runs in four innings.
Rizwan has also broken the record of Serbia’s Leslie Dunbar, who had made 284 runs against Bulgaria in four innings.
Rizwan was the highest scorer for Pakistan in the fifth match of the series as Pakistan were dismissed for 145 runs in 19 overs after asked to bat by England skipper Moeen Ali.
The stylish right hander continued the streak of his brilliant performance and scored 63 runs off 46 balls.
Pakistan snatched victory from the jaws of England as the Green Shirts restricted them to 139.
