An emotional Shehbaz Sharif has said if given a chance the PML-N will change the fate of Karachi.

With choking sound and tears in his eyes, Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz on Sunday wished if he could see Karachi a “developed city before my demise.”

He was talking about the problems being faced by the people of Karachi during a meeting with a delegation comprising his party workers, leaders, and residents of Karachi’s NA-249 constituency.

Karachi had been receiving a “step-motherly treatment” from the Centre, Shehbaz said and added that the country’s development was linked with that of Karachi.

“If given a chance in the next election, the PML-N will change the fate of Karachi,” was the resolve of Shehbaz, boasting that the party would solve all the problems of the city.

Shehbaz has been in Karachi since Friday to attend an “important” meeting and a rally of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) scheduled for Sunday (today).
