In the last 24 hours, the country registered 24 fatalities due to COVID-19 while 1,980 people tested positive, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). Most casualties were seen in the province of Sindh followed by Punjab.

As of July 14, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan stand at 40,862. On Tuesday, 47,472 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 16,262; Punjab: 17,172; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): 9,168 Islamabad(ICT): 1,921; Balochistan: 1,352; Gilgit-Baltistan(GB): 733 and Azad Kashmir (AJK): 864.

Out of 1,756 ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients in the country, 232 ventilators are currently occupied. There is no patient on the ventilator in GB and Balochistan. So far, Pakistan has seen a total of 913,343 recoveries.

A total of 975,847 cases have been detected so far in the country with AJK reporting 21,392; Balochistan: 28,434; GB: 7,044; ICT: 83,956, KP: 139,710; Punjab: 348,725 and Sindh: 349,586.

Till now, Pakistan has recorded 22,642 deaths. Punjab is on top of the list with 10,839 casualties followed by Sindh: 5,621 KP: 4,371; Islamabad: 786; Balochistan: 317; GB: 113 and AJK: 595.

639 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 2,541 patients being treated across the country. A total of 15,199,875 tests have been conducted so far in the country since the pandemic started.
