In the last 24 hours, Pakistan recorded 39 fatalities due to COVID-19 while 930 people tested positive, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). Most casualties were seen in the province of Sindh followed by Punjab.

As of June 23, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan stand at 33,005. On Sunday, 45,519 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 13,243; Punjab: 17,709; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): 8,482; Islamabad(ICT): 4,378; Balochistan: 920; Gilgit-Baltistan(GB): 305 and Azad Kashmir (AJK): 482.

Out of 1,756 ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients in the country, 262 ventilators are currently occupied. There is no patient on the ventilator in AJK, GB, and Balochistan. So far, Pakistan has seen a total of 950,768 recoveries.

A total of 949,175 cases have been detected so far in the country with AJK reporting 20,019; Balochistan: 26,776; GB: 5,850; ICT: 82,431, KP: 137,247; Punjab: 137,075 and Sindh: 333,194

Till now, Pakistan has recorded 22,073 deaths. Punjab is on top of the list with 10,642 casualties followed by Sindh: 5,341 KP: 4,280; Islamabad: 775; Balochistan: 303; GB: 111 and AJK: 574.

639 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 2,415 patients being treated across the country. A total of 14,148,424 tests have been conducted so far in the country since the pandemic started.
