In the last 24 hours, Pakistan reported 735 new COVID-19 cases, the lowest since October 25. Furthermore, 23 people succumbed to the virus according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). Most casualties were seen in the province of Punjab followed by Sindh.
As of June 29, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan stand at 32,153. On Monday, 41,133 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 11,419; Punjab: 17,131; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): 9,187; Islamabad(ICT): 1,989; Balochistan: 603; Gilgit-Baltistan(GB): 402 and Azad Kashmir (AJK): 464.
Out of 1,756 ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients in the country, 253 ventilators are currently occupied. There is no patient on the ventilator in AJK, GB, and Balochistan. So far, Pakistan has seen a total of 901,985 recoveries.
A total of 956,392 cases have been detected so far in the country with AJK reporting 20,256; Balochistan: 27,083; GB: 6,060; ICT: 82,619, KP: 137,831; Punjab: 346,036 and Sindh: 336,507
Till now, Pakistan has recorded 22,254 deaths. Punjab is on top of the list with 10,740 casualties followed by Sindh: 5,427 KP: 4,311; Islamabad: 776; Balochistan: 307; GB: 111 and AJK: 582.
639 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 2,201 patients being treated across the country. A total of 14,502,023 tests have been conducted so far in the country since the pandemic started.
