In the last 24 hours, 2152 people tested positive for COVID-19 while 85 lost their lives, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC).

As of December 25, the total active COVID-19 cases in the country stand at 38,511. Yesterday, 39,435 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 12,646; Punjab: 15,195; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 5,855 Islamabad: 4,092; Balochistan: 555;
Gilgit Baltistan: 370 and Azad Kashmir: 722

Out of 1756 ventilators reserved for COVID-19 patients in the country, 330 are currently occupied. There is no patient on the vent in AJK, GB and Balochistan.

A total of 467,222 cases detected so far (AJK 8103, Balochistan 18028, GB 4844, ICT 36844, KP 56544, Punjab 134345, Sindh 208514).

Till now, Pakistan has recorded 9753 deaths. Punjab is on top of the list with 3831 deaths followed by Sindh 3440, KPK: 1585; Islamabad: 402; Balochistan: 181; GB: 101 and AJK: 213.

615 hospitals in Pakistan are equipped with COVID-19 facilities with 2,886 patients being treated. So far, 418,958 people have recovered across Pakistan.
