The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs19 per kilogramme.

According to LPG Association Chairman Irfan Khokhar, the price of an 11.8 kg domestic cylinder has been jacked up by Rs224 while the price of a commercial cylinder is up by Rs863.

This hike comes on the heels of the increase in the prices of the petroleum products. The price of diesel witness an increase of Rs1.44, whereas petrol price rose by Rs2 per litre. A notification issued by the Ministry of Finance said that price of kerosene oil has been increased by Rs3.86 per litre whereas the price of light diesel oil is ramped up by Rs3.72.
