After garnering immense hype for months, the marriage ceremony of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif will be taking place today. The Bollywood couple is all set to tie the knot in an extravagant ceremony taking place at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan.

As per reports from the Indian Express, the couple hosted a private party for guests on Tuesday, with Haldi and Sangeet ceremonies taking place on Wednesday for friends and family. The couple arrived at the venue earlier this week, with guests asked to stick to strict protocols that restrict the usage of cell phones to maintain the privacy of the celebrity bride and groom.

As per reports, the consistent secrecy around Bollywood’s lovebirds Katrina and Vicky’s romantic journey to their royal nuptials has been all a part of a bigger plan. For the couple’s fans to get full access to the inside of the destination wedding, the couple officially sold the telecast rights of their wedding to streaming giant Amazon Prime Video for a staggering amount of INR 800 million, reported Mid-day.

The streaming giant will cover their journey from being friends to lovers to their engagement and then finally showcase the four-day gala celebration in Rajasthan. Vicky and Katrina’s wedding video will reportedly premiere on the digital platform in early 2022. To ensure nothing from the ceremonies is leaked before it gets streamed, the couple got their guests to sign an NDA and kept a no-mobile-phone policy throughout the ceremonies.
