Pakistan on Wednesday reported 43 more deaths due to coronavirus during the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 26,497 with a death rate of 1-6 percent.

This was issued by Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday, 

According to Shah,19,945 people were tested for coronavirus in the country, of which 1,210 tested positive.

The positivity ratio was recorded at 6 percent, a slight reduction from a day earlier.

The total tally of COVID-19 cases now stands at 1,194,198, with most cases reported in Sindh.

The number of recoveries nationwide has reached 1,076,112.

According to the NCOC data, the total number of COVID-19 patients in Sindh has reached 441,410, in Punjab 408,758, in Balochistan 32,480, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 166,564, in Islamabad 101,840, in Azad Kashmir 33,037 and 10,109 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
